manifesto.

of course, we have an artistic manifesto, halfway between the curious and the boring. We've practically created haikulabs just to have one :)

We, the artisans of haikulabs, fully aware of the rich tapestry of artistic traditions that have come before us, have come together in a global collective with the intent to transform and evolve the perception of art in an ever-changing world.

Just as those movements that have challenged conventions and melded disciplines, we strive to craft an artistic response to the realities of our time, redefining and reinterpreting the role of art in contemporary society. In the milieu of our modernity, we grapple with themes of identity, relationships, and ever-evolving social structures, acknowledging that fluidity is at the core of our existence.

We aspire to merge art and artificial intelligence, treading the path of experimentation and interdisciplinarity in pursuit of an ethically grounded and socially responsible approach. We're driven by our belief in human and communal empowerment, in the power of art to challenge power structures and advocate for fairness and justice.

Our collective thrives on diversity and inclusion, featuring artists from varying cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences, unified in our commitment to collaboration and creativity. We challenge conventions, resist mainstream trends in favor of a unique and provocative artistic and ethical vision.

We draw from the aesthetics and philosophies of past and present artistic movements, reinterpreting and reinventing our legacy to face the challenges of our era. We extend an invitation for others to join us on this journey towards a more conscious, creative, and compassionate world.

At Haikulabs, we pledge to face and embrace the uncertainty and ambiguity of our liquid age, using art as a means to navigate and make sense of the complexities of our existence. Together, we will continue to explore, innovate, and create, always maintaining an ethically grounded and socially responsible perspective towards the world we inhabit.
